Jordon Points joins the women’s soccer team as an Assistant Coach and a Junior Varsity Coach for the 2017 fall season. He graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana in 2012. There he received a B.S in Psychology as well as a B.S in Physical Education & Health, Exercise Science.
Points played 3 years of soccer (2009-2012) at Rocky Mountain College (NAIA) after transferring from Bakersfield College (Junior College) where he competed in Cross Country & Track for 2 years (2007-2009).
For the last 5 years Points has been coaching at Bakersfield Christian High School as well as a local soccer club, South Valley Thunder. At Bakersfield Christian he was the head coach for the Cross Country (2013-2017) & Track (2013-2016) program as well as the assistant coach for the Women's soccer (2012-2016) program at Bakersfield Christian High School. There he led his teams to 3 Central Section Titles (1 with soccer 2014, & 2 with Cross Country 2015, 2016). He was also selected as the Inaugural Coach for the Women's Bakersfield All-Star High School match (2015) between Fresno & Bakersfield in which they beat their rivals 3-0.
Points moved to Ventura last January to grow and expand a youth program called Mighty Kicks. He works with preschool aged children as well as elementary aged children teaching them life skills along the way. He is currently coaching with the Eagles Soccer Club (2002 Boys & 2007 Boys). Along with coaching at Cal Lu, he will also be the assistant varsity soccer coach for Foothill Technology High School.
He is a man of faith, passion and has a big heart for the game of soccer as well as the people he works alongside.
