Michael DiFiori joined the football coaching staff in the fall of 2021 and is the Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach. 

DiFiori brings a wealth of knowledge and is entering his 30th year of coaching. He has been all over the coaching ranks and spent his last 22 years at Bishop Amat High School. He was the defensive coordinator and was also a full-time chemistry instructor. 

He gained experience along his journey working at La Salle High School (offensive coordinator, 2006-07), Bishop Amat Memorial High School (1999-2005, head coach), Temple City High School (1996-99, head coach), Bishop Amat Memorial High School (1992-96, defensive coordinator) and Saint Mary's College (1991-92, outside linebackers coach). 

His teams won 11 league titles and made 20 playoff apperances. His 1992 and '95 squads were CIF champions while his '94 and '06 teams were CIF Finalist. He helped three teams to CIF Semi Finalist and eight teams to CIF Quarter Finalist.

DiFiori is a graduate of Concord De La Salle High School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in biology and a Master’s in education from the University of California, Davis, where he also played football. He is married to Dr. Jamie DiFiori and has two sons, Nathan and Nicholas.
