Holmes Named Director of Athletic Development

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — After 14 years of dedicated and effective service in California Lutheran University's Office of University Advancement, Rich Holmes ('97) will be transitioning to a new role directly supporting intercollegiate athletics at Cal Lutheran.

As the Director of Athletic Development, Rich will report to Jim McHugh, the Associate Vice President for Athletic Affairs, while continuing to work closely with University Advancement and Vice President Regina Biddings-Muro. Rich's primary responsibility will be to raise funds to support the mission, vision, and priorities of Cal Lutheran Athletics.

"Holmes is well suited for this new role since it combines his expertise in fundraising with his passion for collegiate sports," said Cal Lutheran President Chris Kimball. "As an outstanding outfielder for Kingsmen baseball, he understands the student-athlete experience and has long been committed to the success of all Regals and Kingsmen."
