CLAREMONT, Calif. — California Lutheran University women's cross country placed ninth at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite which was held on the Pomona College campus Saturday morning.
Samira Negrete led the team and had the fastest finish as she took 35th-place. She crossed the finish line with 23 minutes and 50.1 seconds and was 47th.
Veronica Redpath was the second Regal to finish and made it two Regals in the top-50. She clocked a time of 24:11.8.
Cora Hautekeete, Brooke Hougo and Carly Jaeger also competed for the Regals. Hautekeete was 82nd with 26:03.9, Hougo finished 100th with 27:41.4 and Jaeger was 114th with 30:45.6.
Up next, the Regals head to the postseason and will be at the SCIAC Championships on October 30th.
