Regals Impress Again at Bronco Invitational, Set Four New Personal-Best Times

SUNNYVALE, Calif.– The California Lutheran University women's cross-country team had another great day on the course as all four Regals recorded new a lifetime personal best time, Saturday morning at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University.

"The meet was absolutely incredible," said Head Coach Matt Lea. "It was, by far, the best team performance of the year for the girls. We executed perfectly and the conditions of the meet were awesome. It was our last meet before SCIAC Championships and we did exactly what we needed to do. I'm excited with where we are at and we are ready for championships." 

Veronica Redpath continued her success with her best time of her career in the 6k, clocking in at 22:46.0 to finish 33rdoverall in the competition.

Rachel Ereso was also quite impressive with a time of 23:29.3, good enough for 66thand Caroline Slate was right behind her in 67th, posting a time of 23:32.6.

Also showing her improvement was Olivia Becker, crossing the line with a time of 24:35.6.

Cal Lutheran returns to action Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. when the Regals compete in the SCIAC Championships in Claremont, Calif. on the campus of Pomona-Pitzer.
