The Purple and Gold got off to a hot start ending the first quarter with the 5-0 lead. The second quarter was just as explosive for the Regals offense and they entered halftime up 12-1. The scoring then slowed for the remainder of the game but they were too far ahead for the Tigers to catch.

Kaitlin Gardhouse had two assists, one steal, and two drawn ejections. Jessica Diaz got in the mix and led the team with three steals as well as adding one goal. To finish off the scoring in the first game with a solo goal was Tamara Verdiell.
