2019 (Water Polo)
All-America First Team… All-SCIAC First Team… Helped the Regals win the SCIAC Tournament Championship as they advanced to the National Collegiate Water Polo Championship… has scored the fifth most goals in program history with 152… has the tenth most drawn ejections with 96… started all 29 games she competed in as a senior utility player… recorded a hat trick seven times… was second on the team with 40 goals and tied for the most steals with 44… added 11 drawn ejections, nine assists and seven field blocks… scored a season high four goals against McKendree (03/01)… recorded a season high five steals versus Toronto (02/19)… scored one goal and had two steals in the SCIAC Championship against Pomona-Pitzer (04/28)...inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2018 (Water Polo)
Named Honorable Mention All-America by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches... earned Second Team All-SCIAC…started 28 games…was second on the team for goals and steals with 35 and 43, respectively…added 22 drawn ejections, 12 steals and four field blocks…scored a season-high four goals twice, versus St. Francis (March 8) and Redlands (April 4)…tallied a hat trick against Pomona-Pitzer (March 28)…had a season-high five steals against Whittier (April 14)…has scored the eighth-most goals in program history with 112…earned SCIAC Athlete of the Week once.  

2017 (Water Polo)
Appeared in 28 games, earning 26 starts as a sophomore…earned Second Team All-SCIAC after a breakout season…led the team in goals (47) and attempts (95) and continued to be one of the most feared players in the SCIAC…scored a season-best five goals against Redlands (Apr. 15) and had 16 multi-goal games…tied for third on the team with seven filed blocks…added 21 drawn ejections, 15 steals and 12 assists as one of the most athletic players in the pool for CLU.

2016 (Water Polo)
Made her CLU water polo debut against Villanova (Feb. 12) at the Princeton Invitational and appeared in 31 games, earning 17 starts as a true freshman…made an immediate impact for the Regals as a two-way threat…second on the squad with 42 drawn ejections and six field blocks…third on the team with both 30 goals and 74 attempts for a .405 shooting percentage…added 21 steals and 12 assists…scored first collegiate goal against Iona (Feb. 12) and handed out a season-high three assists in same game…recorded 12 multi-drawn ejection games with a season-high four against Siena (Feb. 26) at the Tina Finali Invitational…finished with eight multi-goal games including a pair of hat-tricks against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (March 23) and Whittier (April 2)…had seven multi-steal games with three against both Villanova (Feb. 12) and Chapman (March 4) in the 2016 Convergence Tournament.

Graduated from Chief Sealth International  HS in 2015…was a member of the soccer team and swim team for the Seahawks…played water polo for Roosevelt HS her freshman and senior year because her high school didn’t have a team…earned four varsity soccer letters and two for water polo…swim team was Seattle Metro Swim champions in two events.

Full name: Nicole Roed…born on Dec. 10. 1996 in Seattle, Wash…parents are Scott and Cori Roed…has one brother, Connor…has one dog, Elliot and one cat, Boots…family is currently residing in Seattle Wash…chose Cal Lutheran because it was a perfect fit for her…majoring in exercise science and aspires to become an EMT/paramedic or nurse…greatest personal sports moment was scoring the gaming winning, 5 meter penalty shot to put her team through to the gold division championship game of the 2015 Water Polo Junior Olympics.
