Haddad Earns All-America Accolades

LEXINGTON, Ky.— Announced recently by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), Maci Haddad of Cal Lutheran women's volleyball was recognized as Division III Honorable Mention All-America.

Haddad caps off the season with one of the highest honors at the collegiate level. She adds the award to her list which includes AVCA All-West Region Freshman of the Year, AVCA All-West Region and Frist Team All-SCIAC. 

Haddad was phenomenal in her first year with the Regals. A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Haddad led the SCIAC in blocks per set and hitting percentage. She ranked 27th in the nation for blocks per set (1.07) and 29th in hitting percentage (0.359). She has tallied 2.53 kills per set (281 in all) and added 47 digs. 

Haddad was a big piece of the Cal Lutheran offense and defense. She helped Regals volleyball to their 18th postseason appearance in school history.
