Guidetti qualified in the long jump at last weekend's Redlands Final Qualifiers with the fourth best leap in the nation. The SCIAC event champion broke the Regal's program record and set a new lifetime personal best for the second time this season, jumping 5.85 meters. In 2017, she was the only Cal Lutheran national qualifier and finished 22nd in the nation as a freshman.

Joining her, Rouse qualified in the heptathlon for the second consecutive year. At the Redlands Final Qualifier, she accrued a total of 4,489 points, a personal record and moving her to the No. 2 spot in the Cal Lutheran all-time record books. Last year, she became just the third Regal in program history last season to qualify for the NCAA Division III national championships in the heptathlon and the latest since 2008, finishing 20th in the nation.
