2017 (Track & Field)
Concluded her debut season for the Regals at SCIAC Championships in both the 400m hurdles (1:15.36) and the 100m hurdles (17.85)…earned season-bests in the 100m hurdles (17.81, SCIAC Multi-Dual No. 3) and 400m hurdles (1:13.39, Pomona-Pitzer Invite), shaving seconds off her previous best times...inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the first time.

Graduated in 2016 from El Camino HS…ran cross country for one year…ran track and field for four years and was a three-year varsity-letter winner.

Full name: Makena Westbrook…born July 18, 1997 in Oceanside, Calif.…parents are Carolyn and Michael…has a dog, Molly…chose CLU because it was out of her comfort zone…currently majoring in psychology with a minor in cognitive development with aspirations to be a psychology researcher.
