Regals Push Win Streak to Three; Cruise Past William Jessup

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.  –  California Lutheran University women's tennis pushed its win streak to three as the Regals downed William Jessup 8-1 on Wednesday afternoon. 

The match of the day was at No. 4 singles as Heidi Levanen defeated her opponent 6-2, 7–5.

The Regals won five of the six singles matches, only dropping the point at No. 1. Luisa Garcia was victorious at the No.2, Carolina Groff Hinojosa won at the No. 3, Lauren Sebastian took the win at No. 5 and William Jessup had a default at the No. 6. 

The Purple and Gold swept doubles play. Carmen Bufkin and Brennan Foreman swept No. 1 doubles, Joslin Seaberg and Levanen won at the No. 2 and Sebastian and Gerda Jucys took the No. 3. 

The Regals continue the season at home and host Vassar (N.Y.) on Monday at 3 p.m.
