Regals Victorious Against Lutes

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.— The Cal Lutheran Regals played against the Pacific Lutheran Lutes, Sunday morning. The Regals extend their win-streak to ten, by winning 9-0. 

Starting with doubles, Lilijana Peters-Semak and Christie Kurdys, No. two doubles, won 8-0, kicking off the positivity for the rest of the day. 

Next, Sarah Seeman and Carolina Groff Hinojosa, No. three, added another win, 8-0. Nicole Alvarez and JoAnn Taylor, No. one doubles, finished off doubles play by taking their match, 8-3. 

Continuing on to singles play, freshman Heidi Levanen, No. five singles, wo 6-0 and 6-1. No. six singles, Joslin Seaberg, took a win, 6-1 and 6-0.

No. one singles, Lilijana Peters-Semak, added another win for the Regals, 6-1 and 6-1.

Continuing on for the Regals number ten victory, Christie Kurdys, No. two, swept her opponent 6-0 and 6-0; Brennan Foreman, No. three singles, won 6-0 and 6-4; and No. four, Taylor won 6-4 and 6-4. 

After a very big week for the Regals, head coach Mike Gennette said, "The girls are looking forward to a week in Hawaii playing more tennis and enjoying the island!" 

The Cal Lutheran Regals travel to Hawai'i Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawaii, to play the Sharks, on Tuesday, March 26.
