Cal Lutheran in Seventh After Day Two of SCIAC Championships

LA MIRADA, Calif. — California Lutheran University women's swimming jumped back into the pool for day two of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships on Thursday. 

Day two consisted of the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley, 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay. The Regals are currently in seventh place, out of nine teams, with 121 points. 

Kendall Moffitt competed in the A Final of the 500 free. She placed seventh as she touched the wall in five minutes and 9.34 seconds. 

Alice Peterson competed for the Regals in the 50 free. She was in the B Final and placed 18th with 24.88.

In the 200-yard free relay, the team of Moffitt, Ella Roberts, Aubrey Blickman and Brieyana Walton were eighth with.

2022 SCIAC Swimming Championship action resumes Friday morning with preliminaries beginning at 9 a.m. and finals to follow at 5 p.m. Tomorrow consists of 1,650-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard butterfly.
