Regals Claim Three Events at Home; Dual Caltech

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Kendall Moffitt and Alice Peterson led the California Lutheran University Regals Swimming and Diving Team on Saturday as the Purple and Gold hosted Caltech. 

Moffitt and Peterson both won an individual race at a meet for the third consecutive time. 

Moffitt had the quickest time in the 1,000-yard freestyle as she touched the wall with a time of 11 minutes and 5.22 seconds. Peterson claimed the 200-yard free, getting her fingers on the wall in 1:59.57.

Peterson was the lone Regal to have an individual and relay win. She combined with Kyrie Fairbairn, Katie Shannon and Aubrey Blickman to take first in the 200-yard free relay with 1:44.91. 

The Regals were the runner-up in eight more races. Nektaria Anagnostou, Fairbairn and Moffitt both placed second twice. Peterson and Ella Roberts also took silver in their respective races. 

Up next for the Regals is a dual with Occidental on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
