KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More awards for Cal Lutheran women's soccer as four Regals earned 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region honors.
Landing on the Region X Second Team was Isabella Veljacic and Katie Weaver while Avery West and Adriana Maroney garnered Third Team consideration.
Veljacic earned All-West Region for the second time in her career and her trio of teammates were honored for the first time. It is the first time since 2013 that the program has put four players on the All-Region list.
Veljacic is a forward, Maroney is a midfielder and Weaver and West hold down the back line. The quartet helped make the Regals a formidable force this past season.
After a successful 2022, the Regals look to reload and get back to the SCIAC Tournament, and the NCAA Tournament, in 2023.
