2017 (Soccer) 
Leyva earned First Team All-SCIAC…Member of the first team in school’s history to make it to the Sweet Sixteen of the Division III NCAA Tournament…was named to the 2017 NCAA Division III Women’s All-West Region First Team...started in 22 of the 22 games she played her senior season...recorded two assists...finished the season with 7 shots on goal with a .875 shot on goal percentage.

2017 (Softball) Enhanced Stats
Earned NFCA Third Team All-West Region…selected First Team All-SCIAC…started all 36 games at third base for the Regals as a junior…led the team in every offensive category and was one of the top players in the conference…paced the CLU pack in batting average (.373), at-bats (101), hits (41), doubles (10), triples (6), homeruns (6), RBIs (32), runs (23), walks (11), slugging percentage (.736), on base percentage (.419) and sacrifice flies (3) as well as stolen bases (12) and assists (90)…added 40 assists and was part of three double-plays…had a career game against Redlands (April 15) with three homeruns and six RBIs…in league play, led all players with 30 RBIs, four triples and a .759 slugging percentage that was best by more than 100 points while finishing second in the SCIAC with a .402 batting average…recorded 12 multi-hit games including five games with three hits…had seven multi-RBI games…produced a five-game hit-streak during the season and reached base safely in six straight…batted in various spots in the order with 16 starts in the three-hole, 16 as the clean-up batter and four in the leadoff spot…now tied for ninth all-time at CLU in a single-season for triples (6) and is ninth alone for homeruns (6) in a single-season.

Started all 21 games for the Regals during her junior campaign…earned Second Team All-SCIAC for the second time of her career...finished with one assist and anchored a defense that had the second lowest goals against average in the conference.  

2016 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Appeared in 33 games and started 27 for the Regals as a sophomore…split time between third base, first base and the designated player spot…hit .321 (27-for-84) on the season…collected 11 extra-base hits including seven doubles, three homeruns and a triple for a .536 slugging percentage…finished the year with a .405 on-base percentage…scored 13 runs and tallied eight RBIs…drew 10 walks, third most on the team… stole three bases…had six multi-hit games…went 2-for-2 with a double and a triple against Hamline (Mar. 21) and went 2-for-3 with a double and a homerun against Occidental (Apr. 23) and finished the series against Oxy 4-for-6 with three runs and two RBIs… defensively recorded 39 putouts and 20 assists while committing just one error for a .983 fielding percentage on 60 attempts...featured for Division III Week.

2015 (Soccer) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Played in all 20 games while making 19 starts as a sophomore for the Regals…finished with 19 shots including 12 shots on goal for a .632 shot on goal percentage…helped the Regals to four shutouts as a defender…had assists in back-to-back games against Whittier (Sept. 30) and Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 3).

2015 (Softball) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats
Two-sport athlete that thrived in her debut season for the Regals softball team…earned Second Team All-SCIAC honors…played in all 41 games with 39 starts in left field and two starts at third base…finished the season with a .320 batting average…second on the team with 23 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 16 walks…boasted a .408 on-base percentage…had eight extra base hits with six doubles, a triple and a homerun…hit her first career homerun in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (May 2)…had 12 multi-hit games…went 5-for-7 with four RBIs and four runs scored in a doubleheader against Redlands (Feb. 8)…had three hits in a game three times.

2014 (Soccer) Season Stats - Enhanced Stats 
Started all 22 games in her debut season as a defender for CLU…named to the Second Team All-SCIAC…one of the top defenders for the Regals and helped team to a 0.94 goals against average…was a key factor in seven shutouts for CLU…came on strong offensively in the second half of the season recording two goals and 21 shots…had a season-high five shots against Occidental on Oct. 29.

Full name: Olivia Josephine Leyva…born on Sept. 20, 1996 in Pasadena, Calif.…the oldest child of David and Kelly Leyva…younger brother is David and younger sister is Janet…family currently resides in La Cañada, Calif.…considers making it to CIF finals as one of her greatest sports moments…chose CLU because of the small community campus and soccer program…english major and a theatre arts minor…aspiring to become a writer, teacher or actress...most vast memory of CLU athletics is seeing all the sports supporting each other.
