Faull Throws 4-Hitter in Game One, Regals Mercy Red Devils in Game Two

The Regals went 5-1 in Arizona. They improved to 7-15 on the year and are ready to get back into SCIAC play. 

Faull made quick work of the Red Devils in game one. She allowed four hits as she faced 26 batters. It was the first shut out of the year for the Regals. 

On the offensive side, Mia Onesto had two RBI an Makayla Lopez, Hanna Booth, Mia Antonino and Madison Gunn all had one. 

The Regals scoring was consistent throughout the game as they scored two runs in the second inning and one run in the first, third, fourth and fifth. The team slowly put the Red Devils away. 

In the second game, The Regals offense was out in full force. Regan Laubscher had five RBI, Emily Blank tallied three and Booth had two. 

The Regals scored three runs in the bottom of the first and had a 3-1 lead. Dickinson took its first lead of the game, scoring four runs in the top of the third. Cal Lutheran answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning and took the lead back. 

Cal Lutheran opened up the game with four runs in the bottom of the fourth and eight in the bottom of the fifth.  

Laubscher hit a triple and a double while Ariana Mendoza, Booth, Mia Garcia and Blank joined her with a double. 

The Regals look to carry that momentum back into SCIAC play. Cal Lutheran host Pomona-Pitzer on April 1 at 3 p.m.
