CLAREMONT, Calif.– For the third consecutive season, the Kingsmen of Cal Lutheran cross-country finished 14th at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Pomona-Pitzer in Claremont, Calif.
Nikita Khromets led the Kingsmen yet again, posting a solid time of 27:36.00 to finish 54th overall.
Rigoberto Baza completed his Cal Lutheran cross-country career this morning, placing 76th overall and crossing the line at 28:18.90.
Not far behind was Conor Griffin in 84th , recording a time of 28:44.70. Also competing for the last time Purple and Gold was Henry Friederichs. The senior came in at 28:53.10, good enough for 90th overall.
Freshmen Christian Zamudio and Jonathan Aguilar concluded their inaugural seasons with times of 28:54.90 and 30:23.30 respectively.
Finishing things off for CLU was Luke VanKeersbilck with a time of 30:46.50
Cal Lutheran looks ahead to the fall of 2020 as they attempt to build upon a strong 2019 campaign.
