2017 (Cross Country)
ALL-SCIAC FIRST TEAM… ALL-WEST REGION… Raced in seven meets for the Kingsmen, placing first amongst the team in all seven… Finished top ten amongst all competitors in two races, eighth at the UC Riverside Invitational and ninth at the SCIAC Championships… Went on to finish 16th at the NCAA Division III West Regionals and 109th at Nationals… Recorded his best time at the UC Riverside Invitational with a time of 25:28.9.

2017 (Track & Field)
Earned All-West Region accolades for his lifetime best 800m time of 1:52.25 at SCIAC Championships…garnered All-SCIAC honors with his 800m performance…part of the 4x400m relay team that placed 5^th at SCIAC Championships (3:21.07)…ran a season-best 4:00.15 in the 1500m at SCIAC Multi-Dual No. 3.

2016 (Cross Country)
Lead the Kingsmen with the fastest times in all six meets this season… ran a career best 8K at the Biola Invitational with a time of 26:05.83 (Sept. 10)… competed at in the NCAA DIII West Regionals and ran a 27:54.00 8K… finished 32nd out of more than 130 with a time of 27:34.69 at the SCIAC Championships (Oct. 29)…his average time of the season was a 27:14.41.

2016 (Track & Field)
Qualified for the 800m finals at the SCIAC Championships (Apr. 30) and placed fifth overall with a time of 1:56.30…also helped the 4x400m Relay to a fifth place finish with a time of 3:25.16…ran a season-best time of 1:55.59 in the 800m at the SCIAC Multi-Dual No. 3 (Apr. 16) to rank sixth all-time in CLU history…ran a season-best time of 4:21.40 in the 1500m at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational (Apr. 9).

2015 (Cross Country)
Appeared in all six meets for the Kingsmen in his first year of competition…fastest 8K came at the Mustang Challenge (Sep. 19) with a time of 27:02.48…placed 33^rd at the SCIAC Championships (Oct. 31) with a time of 27:30.84…ran an average time of 27:39.02 for the season…member of USTFCCCA All-Academic Team in 2015.

2015 (Track & Field)
Clocked a time of 1:56.41 to place 10^th overall in the 800m at the SCIAC Championships (May 2)…his time ranks eighth all-time in CLU history in the 800m…also competed as a member of the 4x400 Relay that placed sixth with a time of 3:28.35…placed third in the 800m (1:57.53) at the SCIAC No. 3 meet on Apr. 11.

Saugus High School
Graduated in 2014…earned one varsity letter in track and field, baseball and football for the Centurions…advanced to CIF Semifinals in football as a senior.

Full name: Timothy Kahovec…born on Oct. 6, 1996 in Saugus, Calif.…parents are Kathleen and Brian…has three siblings, Brian, Toccoa and Curtis…has two dogs named Coco and Captain…chose CLU to run track and to be close to hometown friends and family…majoring in mathematics.
