Oetken received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…started 7 of the 22 games he appeared in for the Kingsmen…as a senior he scored 12 goals and handed out 9 assists…he drew 11 ejections and 8 steals…he ended his season with a shooting percentage of .387.
2016 (Water Polo)
Made his Cal Lutheran debut against the Air Force Academy (Sept. 3)… appeared in 17 games for the Kingsmen as a junior… scored 12 times out of 24 attempts for a .500 shooting average… had two assists, four steals, earned one kick out, and had three field blocks… scored one goal, one assist, and 2 steals against Ventura College (Sept.23)… had a season best by scoring three goals against the Caltech Beavers (Oct. 29)...inducted into the CLU Scholar Athlete Society for the first time.
