2017 (Water Polo)
Kirby received an All-Academic Award for his outstanding achievement in the classroom, which earned him a spot on the Excellent award list (3.40-3.20)…appeared in 17 games with 2 starts in his junior season for the Kingsmen…scored 4 goals along with 4 assists…drew 1 ejection for the Kingsmen…also finished the season with 6 steals and 2 field blocks.

2016-17 (Swimming)
Earned season-best times in the 50 free (23.20) and 100 free (50.35) at SCIAC Championships…additionally posted season-best times in the 200 free (1:45.78) and 100 breast (1:13.18) as a sophomore.

2016 (Water Polo)
Appeared in 17 games for the Kingsmen as a sophomore… took seven shots scoring six… has a shooting average of .857… tallied nine assists, 10 steals and earned two kick outs…  had two goals three assists and three steals in a game against Penn State (Sept. 18)

2015-16 (Swimming)
In his first season of swimming for Cal Lutheran, after crossing over from the water polo team, earned three season-best times at SCIAC Championships (Feb. 18-21) including 50 free (23.59), 100 free (50.81) and 200 free (1:48.26)…other season-best times came at UC Santa Cruz (Dec. 6) in the 100 breast (1:10.62) and at home against Whittier (Feb. 6) in the 500 free (5:18.06)…inducted into the CLU Scholar-Athlete Society for the first time.

2015 (Water Polo)
Appeared in nine games during his freshman season at CLU… made his collegiate debut against Ventura College (Sept. 16)…overall, took six shots, scoring four goals, for a .667 shooting percentage…tallied six steals, four assists and two drawn ejections. 

Saint Mary’s High School
Graduated from Saint Mary’s (Stockton) in 2015…earned seven varsity letters for the Rams of the Tri County Athletic League (T-CAL) with three years of varsity water polo and lacrosse experience as well as a year of swimming…three-time USAWP All-Academic awardee winner, All-League Honorable Mention for water polo in 2014…earned Most Improved swimmer (2014) and water polo player (2015)…member of National Honor Society…California Scholarship Federation member...graduated with honors…part of T-CAL league champions or co-champions from 2011-14…advanced to sections each year for water polo with a D1 semifinals appearance in 2014…credits his greatest personal sports moment as scoring the winning goal of a triple OT game against rival Lodi HS to tie for the league championship.

House (a nonprofit help organization) in Stockton…chose CLU because he really liked the SoCal area and clicked with the water polo coaches… majoring in accounting with a minor in Spanish…career goal is to pursue a career with one of the Big Five accounting firms.
