Kingsmen Continue to Climb Top-15 Poll

INDIANAPOLIS — The California Lutheran men's volleyball team continues to climb the rankings in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the Kingsmen are now ranked 13th in the nation. The poll was released Tuesday afternoon on the NCAA website.

The Kingsmen broke into the rankings for the first time in program history last week as they came in at No. 14.

CLU ended the regular season on a seven-game winning streak. The Kingsmen swept the Moorpark College Raiders 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-15). Cal Lutheran finished the regular season 19-8.

Springfield holds down the No. 1 spot with an overall record of 28-1. Carthage is second with 24-1 and Stevens is third with 23-4.

Also making the top-15 list are 2018 opponents No. 9 Benedictine, No. 10 UC Santa Cruz and No 14 Endicott.

The NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Selection Show is Monday at 10 a.m. ET on NCAA.com. 12 teams will get selected, with 10 getting an automatic bid via their conference tournament. A committee will then choose the final two at-large bids.
