Kingsmen Rank No. 14 in AVCA Poll

INDIANAPOLIS — The California Lutheran men's volleyball team is ranked No. 14 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.

This is the first time the Kingsmen have been ranked at the Division III level. The program started back up in 2016 and only took three years for CLU to break into the poll. Cal Lutheran enters the poll at No. 14 after winning its last six matches.

CLU was in Massachusetts last week as they played six east coast teams. The Kingsmen swept five teams and won the other match 3-1. During the road trip, Cal Lutheran knocked off No. 15 Endicott.

Springfield currently sits in first place with a record of 25-1. Carthage is second at 22-1 and Stevens is third at 20-4.

Cal Lutheran wraps up the regular season Thursday as the Kingsmen welcome Moorpark College to Gilbert Arena at 7 p.m.
