Made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season, finishing second on the squad with a .266 hitting percentage, 59 total blocks, 50 block assists and nine solo stops…as a true freshman he appeared in 67 sets over 24 matches…made his collegiate debut against the University of Mt. Olive (N.C.)(Jan. 9)…had two solo blocks in a pair of contests including then No. 4 UCSC (Feb. 11) and NAIA then No. 10 Clarke (Iowa)(Mar. 6)…recorded .88 blocks per set…added 102 kills on 222 attempts for 1.52 kills per set…tallied four service aces and four assists…also recorded 21 digs…finished with 140.0 total points for 2.1 per set…had three double-figure kill showings including a career-best 12 digs against Clarke.

Graduated in 2016 in Las Vegas, Nev….played 2 years of soccer and volleyball for the Hawks…garnered 1st Team All-Conference honors…was the MVP in the Centennial High School Tournament…helped his team to 5th place in the La Jolla High School Tournament…sent the winning kill over the net against the 6th ranked team in the tournament, which he considers his greatest personal sports moment…volunteered at the TCMI Food Pantry, Catholic Charities Soup Kitchen, and Lied Animal Dog shelter in high school.
