THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — California Lutheran University men's tennis hosted Ventura College, one of the very best community college tennis teams in the state at Poulson Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. The Pirates won 8-1.
After just losing Isaiah Volk, co-captain and former No. 1 for the Kingsmen, they had to bounce back with a tough opponent.
The Kingsmen fell behind after doubles and were down 3-0 going into singles.
The bright spot of the match was Darvel Lossangoye as he won 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 1 spot.
Cal Lutheran is back in action tomorrow at home with a dual against Christopher Newport at 2 p.m.
