Competed in four singles matches and seven doubles matches as a freshman for the Kingsmen… Went 3-1 overall in singles and 1-1 in conference play.

Three-year varsity letterwinner in tennis and track & field and one-year letterwinner in cross country and soccer for the Panthers… Named to the school’s Hall of Fame for tennis… Was a two-year tennis team captain… Earned the Sportsmanship Award and Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS) Award for tennis… Named Most Valuable Player in track… His other accolades include: Third place in IASAS team tennis two years in a row, Second place in IASAS tennis individual, Second place in Bangkok International Schools Athletics Conference (BISAC) tennis three years in a row, Second place in BISAC soccer, Third place in BISAC cross-country (individual) and First place in BISAC cross-country (team),  First place in IASAS track & field three years in a row (team)... Additionally coached for the school-based tennis club for three years and taught private tennis lessons for two years.

From Taipei, Taiwan… Parents are Sachiko Morishita and Ron Hu… Also played for Impact Tennis Academy in Bangkok, Thailand… Cites being named to his high school Hall of Fame with the best tennis record as his greatest personal sports memory… Chose Cal Lutheran for its “small and tight community, location (California), and tennis program.”
