2010-11
Set two new Cal Lutheran individual records, swimming a 47.05 in the 100
free and a 1:43.46 in the 200 free at the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 
20-22)...was a member of four relay teams that set a new school record in 
the 200 free relay (1:24.39), 800 free relay (7:01.43), 200 medley relay
(1:36.56) and 400 medley relay (3:34.29) at the same meet... earned 
All-SCIAC recognition in the 200 and 800 freestyle relays in addition to
the 200 medley relay...fastest times recorded include a 5:19.80 in the 
500 free vs. Whittier (Jan. 8), 21.48 in the 50 free at the SCIAC 
Championships (Feb. 20-22) ...swam the third leg of the fastest 400 free 
relay time (3:02.27) set at the CLU Winter Invitational (Dec. 
30)...named SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 12th.

2009-10
Qualified for consolation finals in 100 free at SCIAC 
Championships...finished 13th overall (47.84)...member of both the 200 
and 800 free school record relay squads.

2008-09
Competed in dual meet against Occidental on Nov. 8...swam the 500 and 1,000-yard free events.

Paso Robles High School
Member of Bearcats varsity swimming and diving team for three years, 
along with water polo for two seasons...all Pac-7 league swimmer in 
2008, water polo and diving in 2007.

Full name: Grant Marshall East...born on Oct. 3, 1990, in Thousand Oaks,
Calif...the oldest of Frank and Kim East's three children...has a 
sister Katie who competes in HS water polo and track...has a brother 
John...family currently resides in Paso Robles, Calif...majoring in 
psychology...career goals include becoming a firefighter and coaching.
