ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Derek Hahn of Cal Lutheran Men's Golf garnered All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) honors. It is his first All-SCIAC selection.
The 2021 All-SCIAC Men's Golf honors were announced Thursday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cal Lutheran, Chapman and Redlands were the lone participants for the SCIAC during the Spring of 2021. All-SCIAC is usually two teams, but was changed to one, with only three schools competing this season.
Hahn (Renton, Wash.) led the team with three top-five finishes. He was the runner-up with 7-over-par (72-79-151) as the Purple and Gold won their own CLU Kingsmen Invitational. He also placed third at the SCIAC #1 with 4-over-par (74-74-148) and tied for fourth at the SCIAC #2 with 9-over-par (75-78-153). He made the top-10 in four of the five tournaments as he tied for 10 th at the SCIAC Championships with 18-over-par (81-80-73-234). Hahn had the best scoring average on the team with 76.64.
