NORMAN, Okla. — Jeffrey Perry was named to the 2020 PING All-America team which was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Perry (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) earned Honorable Mention and is just the eighth Kingsmen to earn All-America. He is also the first since Nate Gray in 2017.
The 2020 NCAA Division III PING All-America Teams include nine golfers on the first, second and third teams, and a total of 29 golfers earned honorable mention All-America.
The freshman impressed from start to finish with the Purple and Gold. From winning a tournament, to setting the program record 54-holes, and helping the Kingsmen to third-place in the SCIAC Championships.
With the season cut short, Perry still recorded top scores and stats. His scoring average for the year was 73.07, which is the lowest by a freshman in school history.
