Jackson Earns Final SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week Award

ALISO VIEJO, Calif.– This Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Athlete of the Week honorees and Cal Lutheran's Morris Jackson garnered the Football Offensive Athlete of the Week.

This is the first SCIAC Athlete of the Week award for Jacksonand he is the sixthKingsmenfootball player to earn Athlete of the Week this year. He helped Cal Lutheran  to a 59-20 rout of the Whittier Poets on Senior Day.

In his final collegiate game, Jackson (Las Vegas, Nev.) rushed for a career high 187 yards, averaging 7.5 yards per carry, as he found the end zone twice. The Purple and Gold scored on every possession in the first half as they jumped out to a 45-7 lead. Jackson powered the rushing attack and was a force all game long as he scored a touchdown in the first and fourth quarters. 

The Kingsmen finished the season 5-5 overall and in a tie for third-place in the SCIAC with a record of 4-3.
