NEW ORLEANS — California Lutheran University men's and women's cross country teams earned All-Academic Team for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Kingsmen combined for a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.55 while the Regals recorded a mark of 3.11. Cal Lutheran was one of five Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) schools to earn the award for both teams.
Overall, there were 163 women's teams and 137 men's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division III. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
