PASADENA, Calif. - Announced recently by the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Cal Lutheran landed 39 student-athlete on their respective sport's All-Academic team in the Fall of 2014.
Among the CLU recipients were Kiki Bailey (WS), Garrett Baker (MXC), Sean Bellotti (FB), Kevin Blank (FB), Robert Burns (FB), Nicole Campbell (WS), Jena Chavez (VB), Lauren Chrislu (WXC), Logan Cone (MS), Deanna Dakar (WS), Allie Eason (VB), Heidi Ferkranus (WS), Thiago Gaglianone (MS), Jake Gallagher (MWP), Matthew Garvin (MXC), Coral Hasley (WS), Yahaira Hernandez (WS), Julia Kearns (WS), Monica Lundgren (VB), Jenna Malinowski (WS), Taylor McMaster (MWP), Amanda Miller (WXC), Pua Mo'okini-Oliveira (VB), Kelly Morro (WS), Katelyn Moyer (WS), Hannah Nua (VB), Sarah Pappas (VB), Sarah Parsons (WXC), Tyler Pascoe (MS), Kennedy Peters (VB), David Rico (FB), Max Richman (FB), Katrina Rocha (WS), Daniel Tustin (MXC), Kendahl Waalk (WXC), Alex Wardle (MS), Carlee Wood (VB), Taelor Young (WXC) and Pedro Zaccarelli (MS).
The SCIAC honored 413 men and women from each of the nine schools who played one of the seven conference sponsored sports, men's cross country, women's cross country, football, men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's water polo, in the fall and have achieved a 3.4 or greater cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their current institutions. Additionally, they must have completed a full calendar year at said school and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility. Transfer student-athletes are required to have completed a full calendar year to be considered for the recognition.
