Alexa Barnes led the Regals at the first meet of 2018 season as the they competed in the Pomona-Pitzer Collegiate All Comers Saturday at Strehle Track. Barnes was the runner-up in the hammer throw and her toss was 43.73 meters long. On CLU's Top-10 list, it is seventh best. She had another top-five finish as she placed fifth in the discus. She threw for a distance of 35.32 meters.
