Andrew Reina helped the Kingsmen get a win verses the Hope International Royals. It was CLU's first win against Hope International in program history. It was also the first time the Kingsmen have had their record above .500. The Kingsmen defeated the Royals 3-2 (20-25, 25-21, 25-17, 16-25, 15-10). Reina led the team with 17 kills and hit with a .294 clip. He also tallied nine digs, two assists and one block assist.
