Amanda Hamilton had a phenomenal weekend at the 2016 SCIAC Championships helping the Regals to a third place finish as a team. The senior All-American defended her Triple Jump title with a winning leap of 11.90m and made it her third SCIAC title in the event. Hamilton was also busy earning All-SCIAC honors by placing second in the 100m with a personal record time of 12.36 and she placed third in the 200m with another personal record of 25.37. The Simi Valley native was not finished there as she helped the Regals 4x100 Relay team to a first place finish, the 4x400 Relay team to a fourth place finish and placed fourth individually in the Long Jump. Overall, she accounted for nearly half of the Regals point tally.
