Courtney Sooy led the Regals to a split of their doubleheader against Redlands on Saturday. The junior pitcher threw a complete game shutout in an 8-0 six-inning victory, allowing just four hits while striking out two. She also helped herself out at the plate by going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Despite dropping the second game, Sooy got the start again and went six more innings allowing just three earned runs and striking out two more.
