Gabe Gunter helped the Kingsmen to a 4-0 week with a non-conference win over Pacific Lutheran and a sweep over SCIAC opponent Whittier. The junior left fielder batted .500 (8-for-16) with six RBIs, four runs scored, two doubles, a triple and a homerun and had a hit in every game. Gunter opened the four game stretch with a 4-for-5 day, four RBIs and three runs in a 14-6 win over the Lutes and carried his hot bat into the series against the Poets.
