Nick Dallas helped lead the CLU golf team to a first place finish at the Smith Motors Invitational as he carded a 36-hole score of 143 (+1) to tie with fellow Kingsmen Keegan Sheard for first place individually. After rain washed out the first day of play on Monday, Dallas played two rounds on Tuesday and opened with an even par 71. In the second round, the junior kept his consistency with a round of 72 to pace the Violet and Gold. Dallas led all players with two Eagles and a six-under score on par-5 holes.
