Jonah Hobbs defended his 1650 freestyle title at the 2016 SCIAC Swimming & Diving Championships over the weekend with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 15:58.20. The sophomore earned another trip to the podium with a second place finish in the 500 free after a time of 4:36.20. It is his second straight All-SCIAC recognition in the event after taking bronze last year as a freshman. On Thursday, Hobbs swam the second leg of the second place 800 Free Relay that notched an NCAA 'B' cut time and CLU school record of 6:47.17.
