With six matches in six days against quality opponents, Moises Cardenas helped lead the Kingsmen to three wins during the week. The senior from Van Nuys, Calif. went 5-1 in singles competition and paired with Jesse Knight for three more wins in doubles. To open the six match stretch, Cardenas led the Kingsmen to a 6-3 win over Vassar (N.Y.) with an 8-6 doubles win and a 7-6, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. In a 5-3 win over SCIAC opponent Chapman, Cardenas won both his doubles and singles matches and repeated the feat in a 9-0 sweep over Pacific Lutheran. He rounded out the week with singles wins against Skidmore (N.Y.) and Tufts (Mass.).
