In the Regals SCIAC opener, Amanda Jones came through with four goals, including the game-winner, in a 13-11 double-overtime victory against Chapman. The junior from El Dorado Hills, Calif. led CLU to their first win in back-to-back games this season after a challenging non-conference schedule, and also tallied three assists to account for seven scoring plays in the game. With 1:02 remaining in the second overtime period, Jones broke an 11-11 tie with the ultimate game-winning goal and helped the Regals off to a strong start in conference play with a win.
