Christina Hunter helped lead the Regals to a 4-2 record during the week with a .444 batting average (8-for-18), seven runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base. The senior first basemen tallied three hits, including her first career triple, in a doubleheader sweep over Augsburg (Minn.), and added three more hits in a two-game sweep over Hamline (Minn.) just two days later. Over the weekend, Hunter went 2-for-4 in a narrow one-run loss to first place Whittier. The Yorba Linda, Calif. native has had a hit and scored a run in five out of the last six games and she currently leads the team with 23 runs. Defensively, Hunter has been a consistent force at first base with a 1.000 fielding percentage and this past week added 48 putouts and six assists.
