In four games over the weekend, Austin Kay batted .571 (8-for-14) with a triple, three RBIs and seven runs scored. The sophomore shortstop had his best game of the weekend against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps where he went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored. In a 27-3 drubbing of Drew (N.J.) on Sunday, Kay reached base six times and scored a team-high four runs while adding two hits at the plate. Defensively, Kay has been strong up the middle and added 14 assists and nine putouts over the weekend.
