At the Rossi Relays Invitational this weekend, Garrett Baker broke the 3,000m school record for the second consecutive meet after he and Ryan Perez both ran under the previous best time at the Sunshine Open at Westmont. Perez went an 8:54.38, while Baker was close behind with a time of 8:57.34. This weekend, Baker ran the 3,000m race in 8:51.53, a five-plus second personal best, to top Perez and take the top spot in the CLU record books.
