Senior linebacker Robert Foy led Cal Lutheran defensively in a 50-21 victory over La Verne in the last game of the season. Foy got to the Leopard's quarterback repeatedly and recorded two sacks in the game. He also had a season-high three tackles to force a loss of 13 yards and he had seven tackles overall to lead all Kingsmen. On Senior Day, Foy went out on a high note and was instrumental in limiting La Verne's passing attack to just 103 yards in the game. For the season, Foy finishes with five sacks and 10 tackles to force a loss, ranking him third in the SCIAC in both categories. Foy also ranks fifth in the conference with 71 total tackles.
