Capping off his collegiate career with a double, Jake Petersen played an instrumental role in the Kingsmen producing a 2-2 showing at the McMinnville Regional where he was named to the All-Tournament Team as a utility player. The senior southpaw got the Violet and Gold off to a hot start, earning a win on the hill after going 8.0 innings, allowing just a single run, scattering four hits and striking out six. At the plate, he cumulatively hit .353 with six hits while driving in three and scoring a trio of times. He provided one sacrifice fly during the weekend as well. Petersen pitched, played left field and served as the designated hitter during his final Cal Lutheran appearance.
