In a field of Division I throwers, Cal Lutheran sophomore Allie Hadley won the Javelin Throw at the 2014 Benny Brown Invitational where she recorded a mark of 44.22m on her third throw to win the event by more than seven meters. Hadley was the top finisher in the first SCIAC Multi-Dual meet of the season as well and aided the Regals in starting the league season 2-0. Her mark in Fullerton was .26m further than her opening SCIAC throw of the year.
