Aaron Roth threw 6.1 innings in three appearances during a series sweep over Occidental. On Friday he came into the game with a runner on first and no one out in the top of the seventh, going on to retire nine batters in order, striking out three, to pick up his third win of the season in a 5-3 CLU victory. Saturday in game one, a 10-3 win, he came in with runners at first and second for the final out of the game, a strike out. The series finale called upon the junior again, for 3.0 innings of work in a 6-0 shutout. Roth earned his fourth save of the season as he recorded four of his nine outs by way of the K. Overall he allowed two hits and zero runs while striking out eight as he extended his scoreless innings streak to 18 and lowered his ERA to 1.91 for the season.
