Mikey McGinn captured the individual title at The Master's College Spring Invitational last week after he sank an 8-foot birdie putt during the first hole of a four-man sudden-death playoff. The junior shot a 73 (+1) during the first round, 70 (-2) in the second and finished with a final round 75 (+3) to give him a three-day total of a two-over par 218. In addition to being the tournament's low scorer, McGinn also helped lead CLU to the team title, their first of the spring season. The Kingsmen combined for a final round score of 307 (+19), winning by four shots over second-place NAIA Cal State San Marcos.
