Nick Boggan continued his offensive explosion this weekend as Cal Lutheran earned a series win over of conference-leading Pomona-Pitzer. Boggan was 6-for-15 (.429) including two homeruns and a double while tallying six RBIs. He finished the weekend with a .929 slugging percentage for the Kingsmen. On Friday, the senior hit a tape-measure homerun as part of his 2-for-5 day at the plate. The long ball broke a 3-3 tie en route to an 11-5 victory. The first game on Saturday saw the senior go 3-for-5 with another homerun, his third consecutive game with one, and a double, driving in three RBIs. In the series finale, Boggan extended his hit-streak to seven and added an RBI. The first baseman was also outstanding defensively, finishing with 24 putouts and an assist without an error.
